Char Dafoe

Char Dafoe is a born and bred Canadian who grew up in Ontario and has lived most of her adult life in Alberta. She currently resides in a miniscule town a few hours north from the capital, Edmonton. Char began writing professionally in 2016 and has since published several books, and continues to write romance stories with an edge that includes characters who don’t fit into a mold. Being a hockey fan – Go Oilers! – and having a step-father retired from the Air Force, influences from both can be found sprinkled throughout Char’s books. In her downtime, she can be found either reading lesbian fiction novels, watching her favourite famous chef, Gordon Ramsay, or acting as referee/chef/therapist/chauffeur/drill sergeant/ to her two children. Char’s spouse of 15 years is the one to thank for kickstarting her writing career and for the continuous support they’ve given since day one.
