About Us
Co-owned by best-selling author Shannon West, Painted Hearts Publishing is a publisher of romance. We publish and are open to all genres of LGBT+ romance including paranormal, contemporary, sweet, historical, and urban fantasy. We believe our authors are artists and their talent shouldn’t be censored, so our authors present high quality stories full of romance, desire, and sometimes graphic moments that are both entertaining and engaging.
We welcome submissions from all genres of romance from both new, unpublished authors, and those already established in the field. We invite all authors wishing to submit work to visit our submissions page.
SHANNON WEST
Award-winning Author
Shannon West, a multi-published author of M/M erotic romance, is a graduate of Berry College with a degree in English. She worked for many years as a teacher of literature and spent some years living in Europe. Shannon now devotes herself full time to writing. Shannon now puts those people and management skills she fined tuned as an English instructor to good use in the publishing industry.

Ashley Kain has been writing and editing for many years, first with a few academic publications and later in the romance and erotica fields. For most of her life, books of all kinds have been her passion, and she believes the flexibility of the ebook field offers special challenges and opportunities. She is excited beyond words (if that is possible for an editor) to be a part of Painted Hearts Publishing and looks forward to helping launch many successful books and authors.

Jacci DeVera proudly calls the southern Appalachians home. She enjoys writing as much as she enjoys chocolate, cats, cookies, dragons, and wolves. The only hard and fast rule she has when she writes is that the story must have a happy ending. She’s a mom and gamer-girl who visits Renaissance Faires and aquariums, and carries diverse interests ranging from archaeology to paranormal, fossil collecting and 80's music to world mythology. With over thirty years of writing experience, including nearly two decades of proofreading and copy-editing, she’s ecstatic to be working with Painted Hearts Publishing in this brand new chapter!
